In March, Grace and her preschool friends learned all about community helpers and occupations. The most exciting of these being the Police Officers and Fire Fighters! The week we made these cute Police Uniforms.
Then on the 24th we went on our field trip. The Police Station was very cool. We saw the jail cells where they put the bad guys, learned about fingerprinting, and learned about stranger danger. Then we headed over to the Fire Station. The kids watched an Elmo movie about firefighters. Garett got to hold their "mascot".
They took us out and we saw the ambulance,
and the firetrucks. We had a lot of fun!
