Since I got some good response to my dress problem I thought I'd throw another one out there.
.....
I need a new OBGYN. Anyone have any good suggestions? I was thinking about it today and thought I should probably make an appointment soon since I'll need one shortly after I get home. I delivered Grace up in West Jordan, but was hoping for something a lot closer this time. Like American Fork close. Anyone have a Dr over there? I really don't have a preference on male or female, I just want a Dr that doesn't seem like they're too in a hurry to talk to me and give me some good info. I'm not that great at asking questions, so a proactive Dr that explains a lot would be good. So tell me who you like...and who you don't like. Thanks for your help!

I go to Andrea (I think it's Andrea... it starts with an A) Smith in AF (right next door to the hospital). She's great (of course I've only gone for annuals, but she's been great for those. I know that Maggie goes to the same office but uses a different doctor. Anyway, can't wait to see you guys again!
I have a friend that has a dr. in AF (I think the doctor is in AF, if not it's close there. She's delivered both babies there). I'll call her for you and e-mail you her info.
I've gone to Aargard, Lind, Lamoreaux, & Melendez to have both Kenyon and Mara. Their office is next to the hospital. They are a great group, and I really like them all. They always give me lots of extra info. When I had complications with Kenyon they were so good to let me know everything that was going on and I felt that my opinions about what I wanted were really taken into consideration. I can't say enough good about them. I know that's who Natalie is going to as well. Anyway, there's my two cents.
Dr. Ryan Jones is in Andrea Smith's clinic. It's called Legacy OBGYN next to the hospital. He's been my doctor for all three so I obviously love him! The only thing is he has become really popular over the years and fills his schedule up really fast! So try to get in, but if not then Dr. Smith is great and Maggie is seeing Dr. Watabe, also in the clinic. Wow, I can't believe you're almost home. Can't wait to see you guys!
Hey look! I'm leaving an comment! Beth (married to Nathan) goes to the same place "shari" goes, she has really liked it also...love you!
Ok, I will add my two cents: I went to the Mt. Timpanogos Women's Health Care Center(mtwhc.com) with Nicole and LOVED it. They have 2 OBs and 6 midwives. You can see either an OB or the midwives. I saw the midwives and it was awesome! I know that might sound weird but you deliver in a hospital (I did AF) and you can still get your epidural (can you imagine me not?). But some of the things I loved the most is that they made me so comfortable, they were super gentle and would totally talk about ANY concerns I had, and most importantly, the midwife was there during the whole delivery process instead of just coming in at the last moment to pop out the baby!
I did the same as Jenny and had a wonderful experience with my last two. Delivered at AF - love that hospital. Kirstine
